Held interviews at HMP FossWay this morning, large C Cat prison holding 1700 men. Very impressive prison the PEL is brilliant with a great team and employment hub. 10 men interviewed today hopefully we can offer most of them roles with us they did very well in their interviews.

Interviews held at HMP Kirkham today an open prison. Interviewed 5 men hope we can get them into work upon release. Trying to help change lives one at a time..

Spent today at HMP Lancaster Farms interviewing men for roles at Iceland Foods. Interviewed 8 men 7 for driving roles and 1 for a retail assistant including another Army Veteran. Hopefully they will all start work in the next couple of months in our second chance initiative

Interviews in Leeds Tuesday at the SPEAR center a brilliant charity helping young people into employment supporting them 12 months after employed which is great news for the employer..8 people interviews hoping to get them into work they have all had difficult pasts Hope abounds

Interviews held at Stoke on Trent probation office yesterday, Hoping to employ a couple of men 1st offences made a mistake / community service and hours working are much better than a prison sentence in most cases why don’t we do this more often?

Interviewed an ex Vet today released tomorrow from HMP Humber serious prison, it was his first offence and has taught him a hard lesson. Hopefully he will be working for us very soon bringing hope and a second chance with Iceland Foods.

Spent yesterday interviewing young men & women 18/21 for roles with us at Iceland Foods. SPEAR are a brilliant charity that helps and supports young people into employment who are struggling to find work - hopefully 16 of them will be employed with us so much potential there.

Great day yesterday interviewing young men & women who are keen to work in retail. SPEAR. a charity gets them up to speed in 6 weeks then bring employers in to recruit. They also support them for a year after. I interviewed 16 hopefully they will start work with us - first chance

Interviews held at HMP Coldingley today 7 men great selection by the PEL - hopefully we can offer all them a role with us at Iceland Foods bring hope to the hopeless through employment and giving of a second chance.

This is young Locholan (right) and Will acting store manager at the Iceland Food Warehouse in Bristol. Locholan is doing well and is progressing fast. He came through the charity SPEAR which helps young men & women who are struggling to find work. We have hired 9 of them so far.

Interviews today with Clean slate solutions a brilliant charity helping men & women get back into employment based in Middlesbrough. Also HMP Springhill a prison doing great work in this field. Hope abounds for these men and women through our second chance initiative at Iceland
