Just had the privilege of attending the unveiling of a plaque to the amazing, but hitherto woefully overlooked, suffragist & superwoman, #CharlotteDespard. It’s behind the US Embassy in #NineElms where she lived & worked amongst the poor of #Battersea. We salute you Charlotte.
