Looking forward to today's @PrideInBelper - missed last year, & interested to see how it has grown. Was in Belper at the beginning of the week & saw lots of local shops already embracing what is a reall community-based Pride!
My sorrow at the deaths & injuries in Southport has morphed into anger at the opportunistic, racist rioting of recent days, incl in Nottingham. The w/e before, I was with 1000s celebrating Notts Pride. Those trashing the same streets & terrorising local people do not reflect us.
