Thank you, Red Hatters, for helping to literally change the world with open source. I feel so lucky for my time spent here over the last 21 years and I look forward to taking on my new role as Chairman.

I'm so proud of the work we have done. Red Hat is the open hybrid cloud technology leader. But we're not finished yet. I have complete faith in Matt Hicks and the incredible opportunity ahead of Red Hat.

Red Hatters should be able to access healthcare no matter where they live. We're working with our U.S. benefits provider to reimburse associates and dependents covered by a Red Hat medical plan for travel to access several healthcare services that may not be available everywhere.

Having a mentor who is invested can make all the difference when developing your career. I probably wouldn't be here today without my mentor, Rose Ann Giordano, who took a chance on me in the early days of my career. This month at Red Hat is an important one.

I talked a lot about the new normal in my keynote yesterday. While the last 2 years have been nothing but normal, being back on the #RHSummit stage felt like nothing had changed. Thank you.

Hybrid cloud is being built all around us. It's no longer a vision for the future. It's now. And it's strongest with partnerships that advance the open source model, customer choice and outcomes. #RHSummit

Betting on Red Hat Enterprise Linux is the biggest risk I've taken in my career. And the biggest reward. I said give me 90 days to get 8,000 subscriptions or I'd leave Red Hat. 20 years later, I'm still here and the world now runs on Linux.
