Reason for optimism? The last time I recall covering a Timbers match on a holiday was Thanksgiving Day 2021, a 1-0 Portland playoff win at Colorado. Of course, these 2 teams don't look anything like playoff contenders (Colorado Rapids winless at home in 2023).
