*BULLARD: MACRO-PRUDENTIAL TOOLS CAN CONTAIN FINANCIAL STRESS The same tools at the San Fran Fed that never saw any alarm signs about SVB before it collapsed in one day

According to the Central Bankers of the World…0% rates and trillions of new dollars had nothing to do with inflation, and raising interest rates from 0% to 5% has had zero impact on credit conditions and banking. So, if CBers don’t “cause” anything, how can they “fix” anything?

78% of Americans do not feel confident that life for their children’s generation will be better than their own, the highest percent ever, per WSJ.

Request of Nick Timiraos and Steve Liesman … you have been selected by your respective organizations, the The Wall Street Journal and @cnbc, to be the public’s representatives at Federal Reserve pressers. I know you ask about rate hikes, but that’s all anyone seems to do. I am also well aware

President Biden justified his open borders policy as a humanitarian response to the appalling media revelations that the Trump-era Border Patrol had 2,600 “children in cages.” Today there are 12,000 children in cages + 85,000 children have disappeared.

you're telling me the Department of Justice is threatening to sue Texas over enforcing a law against... *squints* illegal activity?

For reference, this is what 100,000 people visualized looks like. We have had three times this cross our southern border in December alone.

If you DO NOT mow your grass, trim your bushes, take care of your flower beds, and tend your garden, your home will return to the wild and you won’t eat. The same is true of the economy…we have to work, take personal responsibility, and serve others in order to grow and eat.

OK - Let’s analyze this Trump idea. Replacing the income tax with tariffs on imports. 1) The income tax wasn’t instituted until 1913. Up to that point we financed the US with excise taxes and tariffs. 2) The Federal government was a whole heck of a lot smaller than it

The US has been running ~$2 trillion budget deficits for two years with unemployment less than 4%. The most irresponsible budget deficits in US history. Yet, Congress is about to pass a budget with even more spending. This has to stop. Shut it down if you can’t control it.

The Constitution allows a Democrat president to bring in 15 million illegals in 4 years. The Constitution allows a Republican president to feasibly deport fewer than 1 million illegals in 4 years. Conserving conservatism conservatives have no answer for this dilemma.

Imagine that a country took 50% of your output in order to fight a war. This is a sacrifice. You willingly give up purchasing power to defend the country. If so, there will be things you can't afford. Today, the US takes 51% of all output. No wonder houses are un-affordable.
