My latest for AccountingWEB.co.uk - yesterday's Spring Statement consultation document on making better use of new/improved third party data accountingweb.co.uk/tax/hmrc-policโฆ

Really looking forward to joining this International Growth Centre discussion next week!

On my way home at the end of a full-on couple of days - CIOT Audit & Risk followed by a Dext webinar with Paul Lodder (FCCA) then over to Brussels for CFE Tax Advisers Europe Tax Technology Committee. Looking forward to rescuing the bottle of wine from the fridge...

At ICAEW One Moorgate Place today for what was to have been my last ICAEW Tax Faculty Board meeting, but happily I've been reappointed for another two years. I joined the Tax Faculty Committee in 2001, served as Chair 2007-9 & much has changed (& much stayed the same) in tax over that time!

I confess to being one of the last to leave the CIOT Parliamentary Reception last night - what an evening to be on the House of Commons Terrace. Great to hear Craig Mackinlay James Murray Gareth Davies MP & Nicola Ross Martin & to meet so many colleagues from the tax world
