Yes Vaughan Gething has had a woeful time as First Minister and the reasonability for that is with him. But he isn't the root of Labour's problem in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿. The real issue is the perception of many in Wales that Welsh Labour has failed to meaningfully improve their lives.

Today’s King’s Speech will remind the world how our political system is antiquated - and incredibly effective. Clear election results. And a tradition of personal civility between rivals that marks quite a contrast with other systems.

I'm not sure many working in health will see the likely coronation appointment to FM within days as a positive for the NHS or Wales. A politician who regularly seems to relinquish any accountability when things are going wrong in the health service. I worry about the next 2 years

As Eluned Morgan moves from Health Minister to First Minister it seems a good time to look at the waiting lists for the Welsh NHS. As you can see all the metrics are increasing - some sharply. Given the last three health ministers were named Morgan, Gething and Drakeford it
