The Griz win another close one this time 6-5 over Eagle. Gavyn Garrison came on in relief and was lights out closing out the last 4.1IP and surrendering only one hit. You guessed it Patrick Gaffney led the way again offensively with a 2 hit effort. Conference play starts Friday!
Started the week off strong with a 6-1 win over Eagle. Colby Chambers got the start and the win throwing a complete game while striking out 13. Patrick Gaffney and Wesley Thompson each had 3 hit nights to lead the offense. Next up Kuna 6:30pm at The Rock.
The Griz come out on top after a hard fought 7-5 home win over Kuna. Liam Ouellette got the win after going 5.2IP striking out 10 and allowing zero earned runs. Gavyn Garrison threw the last 1.1 picking up the save. Jeff Thompson Patrick Gaffney Tanner Larsen all had 2 hit nights.
Lost a tough one to Owyhee 2-1. In a game he pitched to good to lose Colby Chambers went 6.2IP giving up 4 hits and 2 earned while striking out 7. Peyton Hines Patrick Gaffney Jackson Wendt all had hits in the game. Griz our back in action Friday at 6:30pm.
Picked up a big win in the first round of districts 3-0 over Meridian. Liam Ouellette was sharp throughout striking out 8 in a complete game shutout. Patrick Gaffney Aiden Henzler both with clutch RBI’S.
