ABHORRENT: Against the will of the people—including survivors of The Covenant School shooting in Nashville—Tennessee lawmakers just passed a dangerous bill to allow teachers to carry guns in schools. What’s worse: Parents will not be notified if their child’s teacher is armed.

Arming teachers is foolish and dangerous.
Instead, ban assault weapons, make it hard for angry, desperate people to get guns, and keep legal guns locked up and away from children and teens.

Accessibility can't be the work of one sole person whose colleagues ignore it. Everyone in an organization needs to know and be committed to best practices. Managers and leaders at the top must set an example and demonstrate that accessibility is required, not 'nice-to-have.'

Tomorrow the House WILL vote on HB1202, which would ARM TEACHERS in Tennessee. This should FRIGHTEN every parent, student, and educator in the state.

Whether criminals should be allowed to have easy access to unserialized, untraceable guns assembled from parts bought without a background check is an actual debate in America.
