Teachers entering the profession are being asked to work an unreasonably long period of time until retirement. The tier system is a joke. NJEA this is not helping the staff vacancy problem. What is your legislative plan to correct this?

The Paterson veteran’s council and the Home Depot in Totowa hosted a re-beautification at Hayden Heights. The volunteer event enhanced the park laying mulch, landscaping enhancements, new stone gravel, and improving the park. PEA supports our community and our vets! God bless 🇺🇸

Today, we had a great visit to PS #9. The turnout of staff visiting us in the employee lounge was overwhelming. The staff all shared their concerns, asked us important questions, and we joyed a delicious lunch, courtesy of the P.E.A. #Paterson

Have you ever had a problem trying to cancel your gym membership? I just signed legislation requiring gym memberships to have an online cancellation option. We need to protect consumers from predatory renewal policies & ridiculous in-person cancellation requirements.

It has come our attention that groups in the city are staging a protest regarding the District’s plan to rightsize. Let me be clear, while we oppose the district’s plan, the Union is not orchestrating or taking part in any such action to walk out. ABC7NY NewsDesk
