PBO fiscal outlook is out and it ain’t pretty: - Federal debt-to-gdp ratio is “no longer projected to be on a declining path” - 29% increase in deficit-to-gdp from last year - 68.5 BILLION deficit this year ONLY IF no new spending measures are introduced. Expect numbers to get

This isn’t some random talking head. This isn’t opposition rhetoric. This is from the Parliamentary Budget Officer. I’ve never heard language this strong from an officer of parliament describing an entire government’s operation. Watch the clip.

Higher deficits, lower investment, higher cost of living, and the lowest GDP growth in the G7. After 10 years the fiscal & economic vandalism of the Trudeau-Carney Liberals continues.

The Parliamentary Budget Officer confirmed affordability measures in C4 are on average under $200 a year per family. Today officials confirmed the savings are minimal. Meanwhile the Liberal-made affordability crisis continues to be fueled by debt, spending, and taxes.

The Liberals playing a game of accounting trickery with Canadians - trying to distract them from the staggering deficits they have run that get worse with every passing year.

Unbelievable. After repeatedly refusing to answer a basic finance question at the finance committee the finance minister says I'm the one being irresponsible. Asking questions is my job. Answering them is the Minister's job.

The Environment Minster's own website says she has taken "a strong stance against oil sands expansion". This morning I asked her 4 times if she still opposes oil sands expansion and if that is the policy of her government. Watch:

In 2015 the Liberals killed Northern Gateway. Today this Liberal minster refused to support pipelines. She refused to recognize the Federal Govt's Constitutional authority to declare pipelines in the national interest. Still refusing to support Canadian energy after 10 years.
