Some parents (still the minority but growing) never cease to amaze me with their resolute defence of their children, despite significant reports on the other side! Accept it, children make mistakes, defend themselves, blame others, they do lie at times, it happens….fact! 😂😡

So much talk about ‘unmet needs’ that maybe it’s time for a conclusive list of what IS and what is NOT an unmet need?! 🤔

Building relationships with your students doesn’t fix everything, but it does fix a lot of things. It’s not magic, but no one should deny that it creates something magical within the classroom. #RelationshipsMatter

This rhetoric that exclusions are all ‘unfair, racist, tyrannical & flippant’ is totally wrong. Students get excluded for poor behaviour, stop making excuses for that. Lack of accountability is becoming a worrying trend! Exclusions protect students, it’s called safeguarding!
