While we are still closed the team have each picked something to share that they think is looking particularly pretty today ... Greg has gone for the gorgeous Iris 'Rip City'; Fiona the Enkianthus Campanulatus with its delicate, bell shaped blooms and Toby the first lupins.

Gorgeous day today .... lots of splashes of colour, and wafts of perfume, from the azaleas and rhododendrons (and still a little colour from the tulips by the gift shop in the last picture ...amazing in this heat!)

Great news – our Café will be open from Saturday 4th July onwards, Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 4pm (last orders). There is no need to pre-book. The Café has a one way system and distancing measures in place – Hope we will see some of you soon!

Meet Roly-he arrived yesterday to join our sculpture exhibition. Almost 100 pieces of sculpture on display&for sale in the gardens until the end of Sept. We love that he has Pashley Manor engraved on his basket ... now we just need to get some plants in there for him to deliver!)

LOADS of gorgeous colourful dahlias in the gardens at the moment - they should look great all the way from now through September. We get our dahlias from Bloms Bulbs - if you would like to use the gardens as a 'living catalogue' we have some of their order forms .

Our community group needs new committee members to help look after & protect our town centre park. Since 2012, we have been involved in a number of gardening projects, built a wonderful, community-funded play area, Calverley Adventure Grounds, and protected the park from a major development.

Our Gift Shop should have been open for Christmas shopping from today. Sadly, in line with instructions to close non-essential retail, we will now be closed at this time. We hope to be able to postpone the Gift Shop opening to early December–we will post updates as we know more!

The white camellia was glorious in the gardens yesterday!

Crab apple boughs are laden down with fruits - we made a small batch of crab apple and medlar jelly using medlars from the orchard.

It's that tulip planting time of year again! Our bulbs arrived at the end of last week - Blomsbulbs have excelled themselves - 41,960 bulbs in 106 different varieties! The team have already planted up outside the shop and have started on the Rose Walk today.

The garden team have been busy-over half the tulips and spring bedding plants are in now. To all our friends, visitors and followers we wish you a very, very Merry Christmas, with our very best hopes and wishes for a happy, healthy new year for all!

Amazing icicles along our greenhouse this week but the seedlings are huddled up inside and coming along nicely - these ones are moss curled parsley, radishes, celeriac and other goodies using seeds from Dobies
