We will soon launch the official website of #ParliamentUSA, which will be an online simulator for a parliament representing US citizens.

Unlike the restrictive, two-party congressional system we currently have in place, all parties have an equal chance in #ParliamentUSA.

#ParliamentUSA will be comprised of a Federal Council, with one at-large member per state, and a House of Delegates based on districts.

Compare for a moment the seals of #ParliamentUSA and the actual #USCongress. What do you notice about the eagle?

Democrats, Republicans, Greens, Libertarians, independents... everyone is welcome to participate in #ParliamentUSA.

The territories and the District of Columbia will have representation in the House of Delegates.

Delegates will serve three-year terms, and members of the Federal Council will serve five-year terms. Term limits, HD: 5, FC: 2.

The parties will put forth their candidates for prime minister on the floor of the House of Delegates, and then the delegates will vote.

The prime minister will appoint his or her cabinet with the advice and consent of the Federal Council.

The Supreme Court will, in the Parliament USA simulator, have exactly the same structure and functions as the actual SCOTUS.

No minimum age for candidacy or voting in #ParliamentUSA!

The first general election is scheduled for October 25, 2017.
