Children in 4K went out on to the field to hunt for different American states with the Native American tribe names. Children worked in pairs to find the places and then once back in the classroom we mapped them out.

Children in sensory group have been outside looking for and at the first signs of spring and summer. The children have been listening to the birds, looking at and smelling the different flowers and enjoying the environment. 🌸 🦅 🌌

In 4K, children have been talking and learning about having an attitude for gratitude during my happy mind lessons. Children wrote down what they had gratitude for including; others, experiences and themselves.

Children in Y4 have been creating a New York City skyline in art. They have used chalk and watercolours to blend the colours to create a sunset effect. They also used black paper and crayon for the silhouette and reflection. They look amazing! 🌞 🌅 🗽

Children in Mrs Hamblett's sensory group have been crafting elephants from recycled materials. The elephants represent, family, community, and teamwork. They made reference to the popular children's book Elmer and that being different is okay. 💕 🐘 📚
