The Toy Soldier balloon being used as a test subject to see if a crane can hold a balloon, back when helium was illegal in the United States as a result of missile use. The test took place outside of the Traynor & Hansen Corp building in Long Island

In 1984, a Macy's store opened at the Deerbrook Mall in Texas. To celebrate, Macy's Studios brought over the Snoopy the Aviator balloon, welcoming the crowd as they enter the new store!
