The best photo that I could get from the #SolarEclipse today with my phone. I'd say it's pretty decent
Proudly presenting brand new image of Sgr A* supermassive black hole. This time in polarized light, unveiling magnetic fields around the event horizon of Sgr A*. Only Event Horizon 'Scope can give us access to such detail view of conditions near black holes. eventhorizontelescope.org/blog/astronome…
Radio/X-ray study of cool-core clusters, by Biava+
The connection between sloshing, cold fronts, mini halos and diffuse radio emission on broader scale is investigated with Low Frequency Array and Chandra Observatory in 12 clusters. Sloshing is key for diffuse radio emission!

Our paper about magnetic fields in galaxy clusters was chosen for the Nature Communications Editors' Highlights nature.com/collections/bb…
Thank you Nilda Oklay Vincent for chosing our results!!
AGN-feeback in high-z clusters, by Timmerman+ (including myself)
By combining high-resolution observations with Low Frequency Array long baselines + Chandra Observatory it is possible to push measuraments of Pcav at z>0.6. Here we report detections of radio lobes up to z=0.9!

MeerKAT-meets-LOFAR..for A2142, by Chris Riseley+ (w/ Annalisa Mariachiara Rossetti FraLoi Dr Tessa Vernstrom myself++)
Radio+X-ray data are used to study the connection between thermal and non-thermal components, confirming that this is quite a complex system

CHEX-MATE minisplash of papers today ! arxiv.org/abs/2402.18654 Balboni lead a pilot project with 5 radio halo clusters observed with Low Frequency Array and ESA XMM-Newton to study non-thermal properties in a spatially resolved fashion. 1
