5th Grade ALPS started their jury trial today. We look forward to hearing the jury decision after the trial is completed tomorrow.

The 5th grade band put on a great performance tonight at Palos South!

Our 3rd grade students enjoyed learning about the wildlife in the midwest from the staff at Big Run Wolf Ranch. We want to thank our PFA for allowing us the opportunity to bring in such outstanding assemblies.

Our first grade students enjoyed an assembly/concert led by Justin Roberts and Liam Davis titled, Treat Yourself Right. There was plenty of singing, laughter, and learning this morning! A huge thanks to our PFA for sponsoring our assemblies.

Under The Sea theme lunch was a big hit at Palos East. One first grade student said, “I feel like a dolphin!” 😀 Thanks to our PFA and parent volunteers for organizing this for our students.

East students enjoyed the solar eclipse today. It was an amazing learning experience! See you again in 20 years!

Students in grades 3 and 5 at Palos East learned about the Antarctic from Mr. and Mrs. Brown from The Oceans Adventure. A huge thanks to Dr. Pritchard for organizing this assembly and our PFA for sponsoring these learning opportunities for our students.

Palos East 118 Wellness Council organized a school-wide exercise session to kick off their Wednesday morning. Students and staff started their day by doing the Hokey Pokey as part of #ProjectACES, a program aimed at getting kids excited about exercise and living healthy lives.

An amazing celebration of the Fine Arts took place at East on Wednesday night! A huge thanks to Mrs. Augspurger, Mrs. Negley, and Mrs. Curran for coordinating the events for the Fine Arts Festival and Book Fair!

Palos 118 families are invited to attend Cultural Community Night on May 14 from 6-7:30 pm at Palos South. Come explore the rich cultural heritage of our school by experiencing the traditions, cultural attire, artifacts, and foods of our Palos 118 families.

Our 4th grade students enjoyed a demonstration today from our Palos South Band. Student have the opportunity to join band in 5th grade in Palos 118.
