this is a #blackcaiman captured at night with our #DJIMatrice using thermal infrared camera. #UAV imagery has proven to be a useful tool for #crocodile #conservation and provides valuable data for our #caiman project in #frenchguiana🐊🇬🇫 National Geographic Society Paleo Project French Guiana Universität Wien

Two very particular patterns of random movement — Brownian motion and Lévy walks — describe a great many physical phenomena. Recent data hint that Lévy walks may be a default movement pattern for many animal species. quantamagazine.org/random-search-…

Who knew #robotics could have so much in common with a cute cat video😍? In some of our experiments at Science of Intelligence our #robots have a similar playground! Check out CoBe, our #AR system for humans and robots!🤖🥼mezdahun.github.io/cobe.html

There is a viral content of a cat chasing after a projected fish school simulation. At Science of Intelligence, we have developed an analogous system for public outreach as well as research tool for augmented reality for humans and robots. Check it out: mezdahun.github.io/cobe.html

Nao and Thymio met at Science of Intelligence for "fish-football". 🐟⚽ A smart ball of sardines can evade kicks! How do fish evade capture, and how should robots guide this intelligent ‘football’ to the goal? 🧠🤖 It was so much fun trying this with David Mezey and Anna Lange!

Very excited that my first lead author paper is out now! We found that seabirds benefit by hunting with sailfish. As the sailfish break down the cohesion of the prey group with their attacks, presumably making catching fish easier for the birds! royalsocietypublishing.org/doi/10.1098/rs…
