True enough Tom but equally employers are not considering job share or part time roles that might entice them back. Bigger issue I think is long term health issues linked to economically inactive and gradual erosion of some entry level qual to employment options for youth

Essentially it still all comes down to connecting people to work and employers - young with level 3 education or slightly older with level 6 education. Solve the disconnect between jobs, locations, sectors and levels.
