PYCDT Gender Office Quarterly Review Meeting at the PYCD Centre was well subscribed. It was a meeting attended by all the 25 Gender Activists from the various wards in Chipinge together with their 10 aunts and 5 uncles.

Some of the highlights of challenges being experienced by learners in schools are drug abuse, absenteeism, bullying, early child marriages, unwanted and unsafe termination of pregnancies.

PYCD Gender and Advocacy Officer confirmed that her organisation has contributed to a notable increase in the participation of women in matters of land governance in response to climate change. This was presented during conversations with visitors from ZELA at the PYCD Centre

The Research, Livelihood and Governance Officer Mr Allan Murozvi reported during engagement with ZELA, that PYCD was pivotal in the etablishment of the Mutema and Chibuwe CAMPFIRE and was keen to see it being implemented holistically.
