Using tens frames to add two, 2-digit numbers together! Using these hands on tools makes adding these bigger numbers not so scary! 🙂

Today we played Thunderball in math! Students were split into teams and solved two digit addition equations using the make a ten strategy. They then got to bowl if their answer was correct to earn points for their team! 🎳

The Sightseers worked so hard disguising their turkeys so they won’t get eaten for Thanksgiving! 🦃 We have: Thanos, Pickachu, a sea otter, a chef, a bumblebee, and maid, a Minion, a wizard, Wednesday Addams, a turkey in camouflage, and a ninja! They are so creative! 🧡

It’s officially Dino Day! 🦖🦕 What a fun way to celebrate finishing module 2 of EL! The Sightseers will be doing Dino themed activities all day!

Now the Sightseers are working on solving math problems from every unit we have learned so far this year- with a dinosaur twist! They are racing to be the team with all correct answers! 🦖🦕
