Optimus vs Figure. In today's CC, we learned that Optimus V3 won't be unveiled until 1Q26 at the earliest, with production not starting until end of 2026. This is 6 months and 1 year later than respective timelines for Figure (Figure 03 was just unveiled).

US corporate governance is badly broken. Index funds own around 23% of US stocks. As an investor in an index fund, you can’t vote your owned shares in any particular company. Foreigners also own about 30% of US stocks, and many of them have no ability to vote their shares.

Yesterday Elon revealed Tesla is going to remove functionality from its next in-car AI chip. What happened is that their AI algorithms improved so much from the time they started designing their last chip around 2021 that they don’t need two big functional blocks anymore on

Rivian just settled a $250M lawsuit alleging they withheld material information from IPO investors. Normally I despise class action lawsuits regarding disclosures and stock prices since they are usually corrupt but this one is legit. Since I was a day 1 IPO buyer AND a day 1

Wikipedia is going to turn even more into an extremist left wing echo chamber now that they have to “fight” against Grokipedia. It’ll turn into a dying inner city husk of what was a vibrant urban city center. Using neutral AI to edit articles rather than ideological activists

Why is Tesla’s stationary storage Megapack so important? Our electric grid is a complex amazing beast. It has scattered power plants, often far away from concentrated consumers (like dense urban cities) and must react quickly to changes in demand, for example when the day heats

Elon here is reminding people that SpaceX’s Starship program is by far the most consequential space program in history. We are literally witnessing history that will be talked about in 100 years. And yet it gets derided in the press.
