Baseball: Pioneer 13, Knox 7. Panthers complete the sweep. Brodie Howard gets the win. Lucas Perry went 3 for 4 with two RBIs. Panthers had 12 hits.

Softball: Logan tops Kokomo 8-7 in 9 innings. Natalee Packard had go-ahead sac fly in top 9th. Packard and Brooklynn Hagerty combined for the win on the mound. Berries had 13 hits. Teams meet again May 20 at Kokomo Sectional.

Baseball: Pioneer 4, Culver 3. Panthers get a sweep in walkoff fashion. Noah Miller hit a sac fly into center with Lucas Perry on 3rd and Brayden Erickson on second. Perry beat the throw from center and the ball skipped by the catcher and Erickson scored the winning run.

Baseball: Caston 10, Winamac 0 in five innings as Comets salvage a split. Pete DuVall pitched a one-hit shutout with four strikeouts. Talon Zeider and Grant Yadon had two hits apiece to lead the offense.

Lewis Cass boys track won the Cass County Meet today, while Pioneer repeated on the girls side. Cass sophomore Aftin Griffin and Pioneer junior Leighton Dodt repeated their titles as the Fred Kinder Star of Stars.
