We were delighted to catch the Breaking Ground Ireland event in last weekend’s Push The Boat Out festival. Great to hear from Lorde Fuhl: Concept and Neo Gilson Artist on their inspirations and approaches to their work, and their reflections on the need for diverse voices in writing and the arts.

Congratulations to Pàdraig MacAoidh [Peter Mackay] on his appointment as Scotland's new Makar (National Poet). Pàdraig is the first Scottish Gaelic poet in the role. He recorded Crann-cuinnse [Quince Tree] to promote the announcement. You can read his poems here 👇

We are thrilled that Push The Boat Out has been awarded multi-year funding from Creative Scotland. This provides the stability we need to work with artists, freelancers, communities, and audiences as we support and celebrate poetry in all its glorious forms: pushtheboatout.org/push-the-boat-…
