During diversity day this week PleasantSt Nursery read the book ‘Ten Little Pirates’ the children role played parts of the story and discussed the differences between the pirates. We spoke about ways we can be kind to each other, friendships and what we like to do whilst at Nursery

PleasantSt Nursery celebrated diversity day yesterday. We read the story ‘Red Rockets and Rainbow Jelly’ and discussed how the characters liked different things but still liked each other too. We spoke about the things we like to do and how they are different to our friends.
For Diversity Day we read ‘The Great Big Book of Families.’ We discussed how our families are different from our looks, food, celebrations, jobs, size and many more. We enjoyed playing the ‘fruit salad’ game, showing how we are all different. PleasantStreet PStreetP4C

Today, we celebrated Diversity Day PleasantStreet. In Nursery we read a wonderful book called “Marvellous Me”. This text allowed our children to consider how they’re different from their classmates, but how each of them are Marvellous in their own unique way.
