Mak Vice Chancellor motivates students during his surprise tour through the Main Makerere University Library earlier today. Barnabas Nawangwe interacted with students and staff of the Library as students head for their End of Semester Examinations tomorrow.

Management agreed to the request from the Ministry of Health- Uganda to retain all Clinical postgraduate students at Mulago Hospital and affiliated hospitals of Kiruddu, Kawempe, Butabika, and Naguru. A section of academic staff in priority fields also remained and others are on standby.

On 13th December 1923, Sir Geoffrey Francis, Governor of Uganda laid foundation stone for the first permanent building at Makerere University. This building still stands and is part of Makerere University CEES. As we prepare to mark 100 years, we look back to where we have come from. #MakAt100

I have paid a courtesy call to the Makerere University Library Librarian, Prof. Byamugisha after a tour of the main library. Thanks to your team for the great job.
