Prevention officers attended the childcare kinship centre Airdrie on Thursday 15th May 2025 to hold a drug awareness session with the carers group, who look after young people. They utilized the drugs box for the carers to gain information on different drugs and the dangers.

On Saturday 17th May 2025, representatives from police Scotland attended a community board event hosted by North Lanarkshire Council . Community boards enhance and support community involvement and provide a single approach for local community- led decision -making.

Detectives are appealing for information following a wilful fire-raising in Coatbridge. Around 7.45pm on Thursday, 31 July, 2025, a white Mercedes Sprinter van was deliberately set alight while parked outside a shop in Dunure Street orlo.uk/K9DZO
