Transgender people exist, and they deserve good healthcare. There are significant obstacles to trans people accessing good quality everyday healthcare. This guidance aims to help change that (1/n)

Being queer is not a health problem. We need to do better in healthcare. We need to improve our electronic systems so things like this doesn’t happen.

A further useful insight is related to experiences of lesbian, gay and bisexual trainees compared to heterosexual trainees, wherein we see a really stark difference between having witnessed stereotypes based on protected characteristics (data adapted from report). (2/6)
