This week we have been learning some Italian. We’ve learnt how to say hello, goodbye, count to ten, and the colours of the rainbow. We also learnt about the Vatican City, the smallest country in the world, and Pope Francis.

We celebrated Eisteddfod today 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 we performed in front of the rest of the school and sang with our hearts! I'm so proud of 3LN 🤩

3LN love reading and what better way than to celebrate on world book day! As American author Wilfred Peterson once said, "You open doors when you open books... Doors that swing wide to unlimited horizons of knowledge, wisdom and inspiration." 3LN doors are wide open 📖😍📚

We loved making fresh traditional Welsh cakes with Sian the Cook today! What a privilege it was to see the children mixing it together, using their maths skills, physical skills and communication skills in how it all tasted. Safe to say Sian the Cook had raving reviews 😍

Year 3 are so excited to share our Hope assembly tomorrow morning 😁 we hope you enjoy our performance!

We practised our catching and passing skills today in our physical education lesson. We showed great team work, communication and leadership in our games. We also discussed our feelings when exercising and especially when we lose. 3LN keep growing each day 😍

We loved going to the Bristol Aquarium yesterday! We saw all the animals that could be affected if we don't reuse, reduce and recycle ♻️

We've loved our physical lessons this week, I apologise for all the muddy knees and trousers! The children enjoyed practising their throwing and catching skills whilst playing dodgeball and they thoroughly enjoyed their circuit session!

We've been enjoying retelling the Easter story this week, creating a comic strip and even a moving slider! 🤩

We loved our Easter egg hunt activity set up by the PTA! Have an eggcelent break 3LN, can't believe how fast this year is going! Our next topic is "How do we move". Please have a cracking break and stay safe 😀
