Pal Park welcomed 24 recruits bright and early in our first Junior Police Academy. Recruits in their first day were treated with demonstrations by the BCSO K9, Bomb and Swat teams. Recruits were shown and taught how each unit in the B.C. Sheriff's Ofc. are operated. #onecommunity

JPA Recruits on day 3 were taught the history and importance of 9/11 with videos & guidelines of the events that occurred. Recruits were treated on day 4 with a field trip to the 9/11 memorial in NYC where they were able to pay there respect to those who lost their lives that day

After 4 days of classwork, homework, demonstrations and physical training JPA recruits were treated with a day of fun at the Pal Park Swim Club. Recruits enjoyed a day in the sun and water. Stay tuned for week 2!! #onecommunity #communitypolicing #palparkpd

JPA recruits began week 2 with an intense physical training period. Recruits did not let a little rain stop them from there physical training. Recruits after completing their physical training were brought inside where they taught the importance of cyber bullying, & bullying.
