After being on the road for two amazing weeks with PPF-Alpine, beautiful #Bergen within the 7 mountains welcomed me back. How fortunate I feel to live and work in such a great place - stunning landscapes, safe, clean, while enjoying my role at Biovitenskap på UiB and the years ahead

Yesterday we had a great time with 3/4 of the PPF-Alpine team on board of the Statsraad Lehmkuhl Lehmkuhl. Thank you @mohnfoundation & University of Bergen UiB for organizing this event and showing us beautiful Bergen from the seaside!

We had two great weeks learning about ecological processes happening in islands. Fascinating to see the many similarities between island and mountain systems. Thank you Universidade dos Açores and CE3C for organising and Universitetet i Bergen and @mohnfoundation for financing #skyisland

In the alpine terrain of the Rotmoosvalley (2200masl), Eline learnt the potential of close-range remote sensing techniques and 3D/4D visualisations in alpine research.
