On Sunday Active Police Officer Glenn Holmes from the 9th District died suddenly at home. This gentle giant with the brilliant smile was only 50 years old and a 27 year veteran of the force. We solicit prayers for his family and extended blue family. Philadelphia Police Department PPD 9th District

Today we remember the life of P/O Chuck Cassidy who paid the ultimate sacrifice for the City of Philadelphia.

Heavy hearted this morning; we lost a great Philadelphian to Covid. Ray Murphy was a friend and mentor. He was the longtime owner of Tommy’s Mens and Boys Wear on North 22nd Street, among other businesses. He was a powerhouse, a superhero, a super person.

We lost an officer of 15yrs at the 17th earlier this year. We wanted to show his son some ❤ this Holiday Season. He wanted to come to his "dad's" job. He loved it so much he said "see you next year" And we definitely will🥰. Merry Christmas
