Read the whole 🧵for the logic and the context, but this is the gist. Any negotiations and any hope of resolution hangs on being clear-eyed about 👇. Any negotiated deal that gives Ru an opportunity to continue aspiring to take Ukr's sovereignty will produce further Ru aggression

This is no longer about an election; it's now purely a national security threat of the highest magnitude this country or its intelligence agencies have ever faced before. It puts the entire world at risk. If there is anyone with the balls to do the right thing, they will refuse

I wrote a piece about the imperialism that is still part of many liberal Russians’ discourse. It needs to go theguardian.com/culture/2024/n…

Trump has now reaffirmed his plan to eliminate the U.S. Department of Education. For the record that department funds, among other things, all the special education and special needs program in public schools and public colleges in all 50 states.

🚨 Forget Project 2025 for a minute. What folks should be most concerned about is Project Russia. This is the plan for the dismantling the United States, the dollar, and US hegemony, and we have entered the endgame. web.archive.org/web/2019042803…

The Trump foreign policy is going to have some good, some bad, and some “good luck with that”. For instance: - Good: “encourage” allies to spend more on defense - Bad: Tariffs - Good Luck With That: Talking with Putin

Dear Media: STOP saying Trump "selected" or "appointed" a potential cabinet member like it's a done deal. He NOMINATES them. And they must be CONFIRMED by the Senate, as required by the Constitution. It's a presidency, not a monarchy. xoxo We the People

Bumping this back up. Remember all the 5G phobia over the last four years? All just preparation for folks to replace it with Starlink. Just wait until Russia cuts undersea cables and blames the US. Gon' be lit. ❤️‍🔥

Pete Hegseth is there for one reason above all: to purge the DoD of anyone who will prevent Trump from using troops on US soil to quell anti-Trump protests.

Wrote on Trump and Ukraine for The Spectator . No way to sugarcoat it, it's not good (and not just for Ukraine). But let's not to overhype the damage Trump can cause. The key is preparation, not panic. Trump and his impact are not forever unless we allow it spectator.co.uk/article/how-uk…

When Czechs, Germans, Austrians, French and British are dying under Russian, Chinese, North Korean and Iranian missiles/drones and their men and women are in trenches all over Europe, they'll remember the leaders that saved 0.5% of GDP doing deals with Russia.

Many compare Trump to Putin. I have, too. But the moment right now feels more like the Yeltsin era, when Russia's oligarchs took advantage of an older & somewhat incapacitated leader to privatize the state for their own interests. I wrote about this at length in the 1990s.
