Yesterday, The University of Edinburgh Biological Sciences | University of Edinburgh undergraduate Jack presented his findings from his research on #antibiotic #resistance in control & treatment of neglected tropical diseases. Antibiotic use particularly in mass drug administration can lead to selection of resistant strains.

Last week, our undergraduate Yue presented her research on the relationship between #antibiotic #resistance and control of neglected tropical diseases (#NTDs). Yue’s findings suggests that eliminating NTDs can be harnessed as an antibiotic #stewardship strategy.
