Permanent Court of Arbitration took significant step in refining its rules w/ the approval by its Administrative Council of 3 optional protocols - on appt of emergency arbitrators, scrutiny of draft arbitral awards, & on expedited procedures. Huge thanks to Prof Jan Paulsson & the Drafting Committee

The Administrative Council and the International Bureau are glad that these optional protocols for use in conjunction with the PCA Arbitration Rules 2012 have been adopted during the PCA’s 125th anniversary year.
