It’s tough to make a fair deal when the government/employer side predetermines the mandate and leaves little room to actually negotiate, which seems to be the crux of the impasse. That’s on govt to fix, not the @BCTF. #bcpoli #bced

There's a lot going on in schools today. Anxiety, stress and mental health concerns are on the rise. Teachers are there to help. But the #bcpoli government's proposed concessions will make it easier for districts to cut school counselors. It's the wrong direction for #bced.
