At 3am today, a number of our year 12s and 13s set off for Krakow, Poland. This trip is part of the @holocaustuk project, increasing the knowledge and understanding of the Holocaust in sixth form students and to highlight what can happen if prejudice and racism become acceptable.

On Friday, AHR delivered a brilliant workshop session with our Year 12 Council and art students, looking at the blueprints for the new builds.

Students were able to make their creative suggestions for the social space including the additions of booth seating and plants!

Last week, Physic A-Level students were experimenting with laser defractions in one of their six practical lessons this year!

All science subjects students at PGS have the opportunity to experience six practical lessons, enriching their learning!

Last week, three of our year 12 students had the incredible opportunity to attend the GAIN UK (Girls Are INvestors) insight day at XPS Pensions Group in the city centre. This event aimed to encourage girls to explore the male-dominated investment sector!

We had the brilliant Project Trust in assembly today delivering an inspiring talk to students about gap year possibilities in fundraising, travelling and volunteering!

Today we were back at Leeds Arts Uni to explore the Fine Art and Illustration courses that they have to offer!

Yesterday, our photographers were also able to explore Leeds Arts Uni facilities and learning about tethered photography!

Yesterday, Year 12 and 13 went on a brilliant photography walk day around Leeds City Centre using our specialist cameras.

This was a brilliant opportunity to build their portfolio for their coursework and exam projects!
