Almost 20 years ago, more than 20 people graduated from the Correctional Entry Level Training and became Correctional Officers. This week’s throwback Thursday features CELT Class 2006-1. Some of these officers are still with the Department.

Happy Valentine’s Day from the Department of Corrections! Our Crisis Intervention Stress Management (CISM) team hosted a Valentine’s Day flea market to allow DOC’s entrepreneurial staff the opportunity to promote and sell their products to their colleagues.

This moment was recently captured in our Operations Office. These officers are graduates of CELT Class 2005–2 and all of them have reached command staff ranks. From Lieutenants to Captain, these officers are examples of what years of dedication and hard work with PGDOC can do.

Our training instructors have been busy this month preparing the students of Correctional Entry Level Training (CELT) Class 2026-1 to carry out their duties as correctional officers. Thank you to our CELT instructors for teaching and preparing these officers.
