I stopped by the most special bookstore this afternoon: Possible Futures. They feature titles from historically underrepresented authors, including writers of color, queer writers, bilingual, and Indigenous writers. I also got to say hello to the owner’s dog, Sugar!

I submitted my children's picture book on the life of a Black inventor today. It was hard to write, but the honor of uncovering a hidden history far outpaced the challenge of writing it. I can't wait to share it. #BlackHistoryMonth
