PFMS Library Book Pickup!

Rafa Rafa is a cultural simulation in which each PFMS sixth-grader is part of a "home" culture -- Alpha Land or Beta Land. Each civilization has different value systems, communication methods, and beliefs about work.

Students in Ms. Chessario's science classes modeled how to find the mass of atoms by using prior knowledge about forces.

Mrs. Liz Richards and Ms.Stacy Watkins help students with English reading skills by reading directions and using standard measurement while making cookies.

Learning enrichment teachers Mrs. Brown and Mr. Ahern visited Mrs. Lukehart's class. Students used the Desmos graphing calculator to create pictures of snowmen. After finishing a unit on the area and circumference of circles.

County Commissioner Michael Pipe was invited into the 6th Grade B-Day Academic Literacy classes by Mr. Schmidt and Mr. Tranell to talk about the importance of reading and understanding nonfiction in his role as an elected official. Thank You, Commissioner Pipe!
