Today, we joined UNDP The Gambia & other partners to commemorate International Volunteer Day. Reusable sanitary pads from UNFPA The Gambia were distributed to girls in 3 schools within KMC. Our volunteers did a brief presentation on how to use & care for reusable pads. #IVD2022
The #CSW67 has reached Agreed Conclusions - the first ever to focus on gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls in the context of innovation, technological change, and education in the digital age. Sima Bahous
Our final event for #DayOfTheGirl 2023. We’re at the Sir Dawda Kairaba Jawara International Conference Center today, together with UNDP The Gambia and The Woman Boss, to listen to girls from across The #Gambia as they discuss their rights and wellbeing.
