Prof. Amaia Arrinda (Univ. of Basque Country) had an excellent presentation on her research to Dublin City University (DCU) researchers on Nov 27th, 2024. This completes her visit to the Performance Engineering Lab PEL@DCU, which enhances the #FRADIS and #HEAT projects.

Dr. Anderson Simiscuka presented his work "Understanding and comparing the benefits of Gemini AI and ChatGPT for Python Learning" at DCU's Quality Improvement and Develop. Fund (QuID) Project Showcase Event on Dec. 2nd, organised by the Quality and Institutional Insights Office.

Dr. Syed Safi Uddin Qadri and Dr. Moyukh Laha - EU Lero MSCA Research Fellows (SyMeCo) made presentations about their research progress to academic and industry participants at a DCU seminar on Dec 16th, 2024.

Dr. Yashar Farzaneh, Senior Cloud Solution Architect, gave an excellent presentation on AI and Edge Computing research at Ericsson Ireland to Dublin City University researchers on Feb 13th, 2025. This contributes to the research performed in the RI #FRADIS and EU #HEAT projects.

Dr. Simiscuka (PEL@DCU) has run two hands-on workshops on programming single board computers attended by Ardscoil Ris and Dominican College transition year students who visited DCU Engineering on 24 and 25 Feb 2025, respectively. #DCU #HEAT

Prof. Muntean gave a talk on "Enabling High-Quality Rich Media Streaming Services in 6G Network Environments" at the Wuhan University of Technology, China. It included solutions proposed as part of the EU Horizon Europe HEAT and Research Ireland FRADIS projects.

Prof. Muntean has visited the School of Information Engineering and the Research Institute of Information Intelligent Congnition Technologies at the Wuhan University of Technology, China as part of an on-going excellent research collaboration with Professors Yi Han and Ting Bi.

Prof. Muntean has given a talk on "Resource-Aware Cloud-Edge Collaborative Solutions for Heterogeneous Content Delivery Networks" at the very prestigious Pengcheng Lab, Shenzhen, China. It included recent outputs of the EU Horizon Europe HEAT and Research Ireland FRADIS projects.
