History is filled with reminders of the collective power of people. Movements were birthed cause one day someone decided "I can & will ask more of my community." Well here's my rock into the pond that I hope creates swells of change, join me. Do..Do More..Do Better iwilldomore.org

I hope everyone has some homies like Juan Barraza Mitch Daugherty & Rick Turoczy. The response to my crazy ideas is always #YeahMaybe then they jump into help. Thanks Malia Spencer for speaking with us about the "Do" movement that kicked off yesterday. Do..Do More..Do Better bizjournals.com/portland/news/…

.Stephen Green, Juan Barraza, Rick Turoczy, Mitch Daugherty created Do..Do More..Do Better to help people within organizations hold their institutions accountable to recent Black Lives Matter statements and other diversity, equity and inclusion promises. bizj.us/1q50i8

On the topic of rethinking this pursuit, here are the insights that Stephanie Ghoston Paul shared recently youtu.be/2wPlYaPHuw0?t=…

"Many Black Americans remain skeptical that real change will happen. It is a dream too long deferred, too long denied. Overcoming systemic racism will require equally systematic solutions and a sustained sense of urgency," Philip Gaskin. bit.ly/2OiXqEJ

Getting ready to jump on @opb OPBTOL around 12:40pp to talk about how the #BlackLivesMater movement has inspired a more local movement of Do..Do More..Do Better, #PitchBlack & continued importance of support #PDX more than 4000 Black owned biz #SupportBlackBusiness opb.org/radio/programs…

In the 2007, I started Silicon Florist 🌹. I was going to be a blogger. And then I got hired by ReadWriteWeb. I was a paid blogger. Over the course of the next dozen years, I would have the opportunity to write online and appear quoted in publications.

In 2016, I had the unique pleasure of being interviewed by Mitsu Yamazaki 山崎満広|サステナブル都市プロデューサー| for his book Portland Makers. A follow up to his bestseller. My words and thoughts appeared in Japanese. And would be translated into Korean, as well.

But it wasn’t until today that I had the opportunity to see a chunk of my own written content in print. In a book. Like an author. Thank you Brad Feld and Ian Hathaway for the opportunity. Congrats on the launch! Happy to be part of the Startup Community Way amzn.to/39FluLZ

Rick Turoczy Brad Feld Startup Community Way Rick!! ♥️ Thank you for being a part of this. It's an honor. You're a wonderful writer, thinker, dot connector, and all-around human. I've learned a lot from you.

Now more than ever, Oregon College Inventors and Entrepreneurs need support to create the solutions that will change people's lives. We are grateful for the The Ford Family Foundation support to help us bring the same opportunities to college students across Oregon. ow.ly/3nwp30r1wrO

“But most of all, we hope it truly exemplifies the thing that PIE holds most dear. That we are first and foremost about founders. And founders as people. With lives and families and friends outside of their startup pursuits.” — Rick Turoczy link.medium.com/419MlkL4x8
