Thwarted! We were all set for a big Transformation early this morning, but someone was about to call the cops on us. It’s a shame, because that Transformation would have helped everybody!

We hope you all realize why we do what we do, and why we sometimes have to break the law to do it.

The system is set up so that a thousand things have to go right for anything to change, even if leaving it unchanged is the worst possible outcome.

So, we do those things when we can’t stand to see them undone, and we make the system act to undo them.

And then maybe they get the idea that those things absolutely need to be done, and they cut out a few layers of negatory bureaucracy.

And maybe—just maybe—things change! Because we show that change is possible! That’s what a Transformation is about.

So next time you’re out there walking around your neighborhood and spy us working, why not just look the other way.

Sorry we didn’t thread that. We were distracted by the urgency of our broken streets, and our desire to fix them.
