Well done to our stars of the week, our TT Rockstar champions and our Headteacher award winners. You have all been amazing this week 👏👏👏

This week, our end of year Attendance Award Winners enjoyed a special experience with KL Falconry who brought a variety of birds of prey into school. The children learned about the birds, watched them in flight and even got up close with some of them 👏⭐️

On Thursday, our Y3 pupils performed in their Guitar Concert for their families. After a year of weekly lessons, it was wonderful to see the progress made. The pupils showed confidence and ability and have clearly enjoyed learning this fabulous instrument.

On Wednesday afternoon, we hosted our Whole School Summer Music Concert out on the school field. Each class performed a song and the event finished with a surprise staff dance performance, which was met with lots of laughter and applause! A lovely musical afternoon!

On Thursday we held our Y6 Prize Giving/Leaver’s Assembly. With heartfelt speeches from Mr Reynolds, our Head Boys and Girls, and a video full of memories, it was a fitting way to celebrate our brilliant Y6 pupils who have achieved the highest sats outcomes ever at Larks Hill 👏

Well done to our final stars of the week award winners! What a fabulous end to a wonderful year ⭐️

Today, the whole school had their lunch on the field followed by Mrs Law instigating a whole school conga! What a way to have fun before we break up for the summer holidays! Let’s all do the conga!!! 🎶

As I sign off today after three years as Headteacher at Larks Hill, I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all our parents/carers, our wonderful pupils and my amazing, talented and supportive staff. What an outstanding journey it’s been!! All the very best, Mrs Adams 🙏
