A very moving trbute by Penny Mordaunt, who I felt transcended politics that day & represented 'democracy' in a way few of us know we could have done.
Her involvement & her haute couture regalia was, for me, the most modern part of an ancient tradition. express.co.uk/news/royal/189β¦
I completely agree with Gavin St Pier π¬π¬ that leaders should not fear challenge or scrutiny- indeed they should be hungry for it so we can learn from mistakes & grow
Great to have Jo Maugham with us at Guernsey Lit Fest
He movingly shared how his abusive background has fuelled his passion for justice & need to give people agency through Good Law Project

Do read his brilliant book #BringingDownGoliath
As #antitrans hate machine ramps up & misuses #CassReview even more, let's be honest:
I) Their focus is primarily #transwomen who don't 'pass'

Excellent #LVW24 workplae conference curated by the indomitable Nancy Kelley
Closing keynote by Natasha Devon ππ from @lbc was a highlight, breaking a major taboo by speaking about our fear of losing power when we come out - but then finding being true to ourselves is a #superpower
Natasha Devon ππ gives final #LVW24 Workplace Conference keynote
She explains that primary reason she was scared of coming out as bisexual was that she thought she would loose some of her 'power', but instead she found the opposite - she now has freedom to be who she is #truepower
I'm also very happy to announce that #7WOMEN are having a 2nd life, thanx to Claire Allen @ #guernseyliteraryfestival . You'll have another chance to see them, in a free art exhibition at #thegeorgecrossangallery
From Sunday 28th April to Sunday 5th May. More details to follow.
