And, if you haven’t yet already β€” respond to the public consultation by Sunday 3 August at midnight. Your voice can help shape the outcome! letstalk.oxfordshire.gov.uk/congestion-cha…

Congestion outbound on Abingdon Road, Oxford yesterday afternoon. Even in the School Holidays. Abingdon Road is under extra pressure while Botley Road is closed, and one reason we need the Temporary Congestion Charge for Cars

Londoners love their bike lanes. In the five years I have been commuting to work by bike, I have never seen it so busy. Thank you Will Norman for making this possible! πŸš²πŸš΄β€β™€οΈπŸš΄πŸš² London Cycling Campaign

Campaigners are seeking statements from anyone who has walked Electric Road, the path from Osney Mead to South Hinksey. The path is not yet formally a public right of way, meaning access could be withdrawn at any time; the campaign aims to apply for it to become one.

Councillor Andrew Gant here reminding Oxfordshire of the very practical reason why a #CongestionCharge was proposed.. in wait of the traffic filters, something had to be done to get traffic moving again

Here at Oxfordshire Liveable Streets we see this as so much more than a traffic measure - as part of a broader suite of initiatives, it plays a small but vital role in shifting #Oxford from polluted, unsafe, inefficient, & inequitable to a fairer city with better journeys & freedom to choose πŸš—πŸš²πŸšΆπŸΎβ€β™€οΈ

Ermygadddd, I’m here on Oxford Street as it’s traffic free! What a total buzz πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ™ŒπŸ» All we can hear is people chatting and laughing, and not ONE engine. It’s delicious. And of course people are here in huge numbers. … 1/9

Just LOOK at how people take up the whole space! This is a mainstream, popular idea. What it city centres should always look like.

The foot and cycle diversion on the Thames towpath south of #Oxford centre is over and that section of path nicely repaired. However, **caution** of gravel by the river for a few days.
