Super Saturday for the second week running! The 1s won a nail-biter at home to Castle Acre, eventually running out winners by 7 runs. David Yarham was the stand out with 97*. The 2s recorded a more comfortable win at Martham by 56 runs. Chris Winterbone top scoring with 66!🏏

Attention turns to this weekends round of matches. On Saturday the 1s travel to Castle Rising CC while the 2s host Coltishall! On Sunday we host South Walsham in a Sunday Friendly! Good luck to all involved.🏏

Super Saturday for the THIRD week running! The ones managed to defend 125 Castle Rising CC, bowling the hosts out for 68. The 2s chased 110 for the loss of 3 wickets at home against Coltishall! Great work fellas!🏏

Both teams will be looking to extend their impressive starts to the league season this weekend as the 1s travel to Narborough Cricket Club while the 2s host Sprowston CC. Good luck to all players involved!🏏

Mixed bag yesterday, unfortunately the 1s came just short in a real tight one with Narborough Cricket Club, losing by 4 runs chasing 237. The 2s managed a comfortable win at home beating Sprowston CC by 9 wickets. We go again next week!🏏

A big weekend approaching for the club! The 1s will be looking to bounce back from Saturdays disappointment as we host NorwichBystandersCC! The 2s will look to continue their impressive start away at Old Catton Cricket Club. On Sunday we travel to @Reepham_SalleCC!🏏

Unfortunately the Sunday game at @Reepham_SalleCC is OFF as we are unable to raise a side. Apparently England are playing football or something?🤷🏼‍♂️

🔙🔛🔝 The 1s returned to the top of division 1 on Saturday after beating NorwichBystandersCC by 110 runs! David Yarham scored 106* and Chris Winterbone took 5-20 in in the win!🏏

The 2s also rose to 2nd in division 3 after beating Old Catton Cricket Club by 2 wickets in a low scoring game! @zeeeeeeee_123 was the standout, scoring 79 as we chased 127!🏏

Huge weekend coming up for the club as we begin to approach the half way point in the league season. On Saturday the 1s face a tough trip to Caister Cricket Club while the 2s host Rollesby CC. Good luck to all players involved!🏏

The 2nd team game at home to Rollesby CC is off due to Rollesby being unable to field a side.

Huge day for the club tomorrow as both teams are involved in top of the table clashes! The 1s currently sitting 2nd in Division 1 host leaders Hingham Cricket Club knowing that a win would likely put us back top of the pile while the 2s, also in 2nd travel to leaders Cringleford.🏏🏏

Everyone at the club is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of club player Tony Reedman on Wednesday. Our thoughts go out to Jill, Ben and the rest of the family.

Next Saturday (14th August) is our annual Beer Festival at the ground. One of, if not the best local band will be playing and there will be a large selection of real ales and ciders in the beer tent (cash only), lagers and other drinks will be available in the main bar!

Congratulations to 1st team captain Billy Yarham who tops the Norfolk honours board for his 7-12 last week against Castle Rising CC. The impressive figures also managed to sneak into the National honours board. Hopefully more of the same today!🏏

First team suffer a defeat last game of the season by the hands off our good friends Overstrand CC! Jordi lake 50 and a Dan Edmonds 40* the highlight! Big shout out to billy yarham for a stunning 115* for them. What a season. Let’s drink well.
